Clinical Social Work

When life suddenly or dramatically changes for people, it is sometimes difficult to cope, to understand what is happening, to make appropriate decisions, or to follow even the best advice. When a person experiences an impairment or disability, or when there is a major life event, our Social Work staff can identify strategies to help make sense of what has happened and enable a person or family to regain their foothold on life.

Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers are highly experienced practitioners who are available to work with individuals and families who have an identified mental health or psychosocial need. When life presents with an unforeseen crisis, trauma, injury, illness or life altering event, our clinicians work collaboratively with our clients to overcome obstacles, to improve interpersonal relationships and overall quality of life. Our clinicians utilize a wide range of therapeutic interventions designed to meet each individual’s unique needs. Some common themes addressed in therapy include but are not limited to:

      • Anxiety and stress management
      • Depression
      • Substance use and co-occurring disorders
      • Adjustment to an identified life stressor
      • Crisis intervention
      • Grief and loss
      • Trauma recovery
