Pelvic floor dysfunction, which includes urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, and chronic constipation, can have a devastating effect on a person’s lifestyle. At Rehabilitation Associates, Inc., we utilize a variety of treatment interventions to allow patients to regain control and decrease or eliminate pain. These include evidence-based exercises, bladder re-training, behavioral modification, pain management modalities and manual therapy. Additionally, new generation biofeedback equipment is used to measure the activities of the pelvic muscles to determine their tone and strength.
The staff at Rehabilitation Associates, Inc. understands the sensitive nature of these often embarrassing conditions. We are committed to assisting patients to improve their lives in a discreet and caring environment.
The Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Program is conducted in our Milford office.
