Our Shelton Office is located on Bridgeport Avenue, just off Route 8. We are close tot he Merritt Parkway and easily accessible from Interstate 95. Door to door transportation may be provided by several community agencies, including “Valley transit” and the Shelton Senior Center for Shelton residents. In addition, there are several taxi services available to provide transportation.
1. Merritt Parkway Going Toward Either New Haven or New York:
a. Take Route 8 North (heading toward Waterbury). Take Exit 12 (Old Stratford Road). At the bottom of the ramp turn left. Get into the right hand lane.
b. At the second light you will be at a major intersection. Make a right turn at this light onto Bridgeport Avenue. Pass through 2 traffic lights. You will see a rocky wooded area on your left. Rehabilitation Associates, Inc. is the first driveway on the left past that rocky wooded area. You will see a small sign on the street, and the building is tucked back a bit from the road behind a ledge.
c. Turn up the driveway and park. We are located on the first floor as you enter the building.
2. Route 8 South (Going Toward Bridgeport from Ansonia/Derby/Waterbury):
a. Take Exit 12 (Old Stratford Road). At the bottom of the ramp turn right. Stay in the right lane.
b. Follow directions for 1b. and 1c. above.
3. I-95 Going toward Either New Haven or New York:
a. From I-95 take Route 8 North (toward Waterbury). Follow the directions for 1a., 1b. and 1c. above.
